Installation Guide

Follow this guide to install your MagBase, no specialist tools required.

Each product comes with magnets included and the entire fitting process is just 4 simple steps!

Step 1

Remove Old Magnets & Glue

Use pliers or another tool to remove any existing magnets and glue.

If your base is new, skip this step!

Step 2

Push the supplied magnets into the recesses.

We recommend doing this on a magnetic tray for easier handling.

Step 3

Apply your choice of glue to the MagBase.

If using hot glue, apply blobs on the top surface.

If using superglue apply around the top of the outer ring.

Magnets do not need any glue to be applied.

STEP 4

Press the model firmly onto the MagBase and hold it in place until the glue sets.

Once the glue is set, the model is ready to go!

Magnet Installation
Use a spare plastic base upside down to press magnets into place if these prove difficult to install by hand.
Hot Glue
Ensure enough glue is used so that it will make contact with the underside of the base when installed.
Superglue
Ensure a good application of glue around the top rim of the MagBase to give a strong adhesion.
Glue Process
To stop your magnet becoming glued to the metal tray, try putting a piece of paper between the base and the tray when gluing.

Use a ruler to measure the outer diameter of your base.
